So during our uber-fab weekend away up in Midland, the hubs allowed me to sneak in some time to photograph him on campus at Northwood and around Midland. I knew I was going to be sending out tri-folds as thank you notes after the graduation party plus I just wanted to capture this phase of our lives. I seriously remember when Tyler was just a baby, fourteen years ago, and Todd was taking college classes. He continued to attend when we made our move out of that single wide into our first but very small home. He continued even still during my pregnancy with our twins Mallory and Hailey and took what was supposed to be a short break after their birth. Well, I think they were three by the time he returned on a serious mission. Todd worked overtime trying to finish up his classes in order to participate in the commencement ceremony in May of this year which he did. Let me tell you, I thought I was a big ole’ baby when it came to how proud I am of my children but holy cow I still get teary-eyed now. Todd worked full time for General Motors while taking classes and taking care of us. There were some weeks he had two evening classes each week and school all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, not to mention all the pre-work and homework that came with each class. He is the MOST ambitious person I’ve ever know and also carries an all ‘A’ average. He’s intelligent, strong-willed, ambitious, fun-loving, down-to-earth, and so super fab! How he manages to juggle his very full plate while making me feel loved and like a priority is beyond me but I’m so glad he knows how to juggle! His qualities are also the reason I don’t doubt for one second how he chooses to take advantage of his intelligence, his education, and his God-given talents. I’m looking forward to holding hands and jumping through open doors full speed ahead and basking in the glory and wonder of how the Lord chooses to bless and amaze us!

The hubs was super sweet and took a couple of shots of Jen and I after our session. As I mentioned in my last post Jen and I met on Facebook and became fast friends over recent months and both of us were super excited to finally meet each other!

Our session was on Sunday and I went yesterday to have my hair done. My hair was the longest it’s ever been in my life but I just wasn’t feeln’ it so I got something that is a bit more, well ME! I think it’s spunky and sassy and suits me well. Thank you to my Faithy for taking a great pic of me and thank you Bare Minerals for hiding the signs of old age!
