Boka Studios Photowalk

A bunch of us local photographers gathered in the streets of D-town to share our passion and wander in the cold. A huge thank you to the models who shared their afternoon and their beauty in the cold with us! I shoot people and macro still life, ya know like flowers and just shooting ‘things’ is not a strength of mine in my opinion but I did end up with a few images of objects that I’m good with sharing. Enjoy this wonderful Christmas season! Laugh a little more, sip on some cocoa, curl up by the fire with a good book, and schedule a family game night!

I recently did a fundraiser for a Lake Orion/Oxford MOPS group and was so pleasantly surprised when one of the families showed up and I discovered I used to go to high school with mom. We both cheered for Warren Mott and my hubby used to know her brother. Such a small world! I have a preview of the other families coming up but just loved so many of the images from my short time with Nicole and her family that I just had to share.

Wrapping up the awesomeness that was Stacey and Rob’s wedding day. You can see Part I here and Part II here.

the Mary Margaret Wedding Chapel was perfection.

Okay, this was seriously Stacey’s favorite part of the day! She got to ring the church bell after the ceremony!

We headed over to the carousel for cocktail hour… this may have also been the highlight for Stacey so it’s a toss up.

And the Eagle Tavern made me oh so very happy. Not a single light bulb was light in the reception area, just lots and lots of quaint, cozy, and romantic candle light.
