As much as I hate to split up a wedding preview I just have to because there are so many wonderful moments from Rob and Stacey’s wedding that I want to share. Part II can be seen here and Part III can be seen here.
The day. The light. The weather. The details. The people. It all was perfect! We started at the Palazzolo Salon in Royal Oak where they did an amazing job for Stacey and her sister slash best friend slash Matron of Honor, Andrea. Stacey’s hair reflected how she likes things done in life… simple, elegant, classic with a pop. And you’ll hear that a lot.

And the pop… was this custom headpeice…

Andrea and Stacey both have these smiles and laughs that just light up the world!

We then ventured down the block to About Face, this gorgeous make-up studio and they didn’t disappoint.

Stacey got dressed at the IMAX at Greenfield Village and even though we were moments from her first look and seeing her groom she was still cool as a cucumber.

And the pop?

The guys attended to their final details… Rob may have blead a bit under that tux from being pinned a few times.

And my favorite part of the day! The first look! We opt together to shoot a first look and allow the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony to allow for plenty of time for portraits without sacrificing time away from their guests later in the day.

One of my favorites! The IMAX hall is much like Stacey, simple, elegant, classic, and the pop in this case was the yummy light. Anyone who has witnessed this couple together can see and feel their love and romance. The quiet moments, the flirtatious grins, and Rob seriously has a few romantic bones in his body.

I shot the black and white on the left my lovely assistant for the day photographer, friend, and sister-in-law Erica shot the right moments before Rob saw his bride.

The flowers were divine! Oh and there’s a pop there too! Orchids!

A small yet significant bridal party.

A little love…

And we’ll end with some eye candy and I’ll bring you the groomals tomorrow! I LOVE fall! The color, the crisp air, and the ability to layer and accessorize without sweating your makeup off. There’s something about a new season, a fresh start, and new beginning that I adore. I, like Stacey, also adore things that are simple, elegant, and clean with just a pop so to find this sun dial on the most amazing property in Michigan surrounded by so much beauty just really makes her bouquet shine.
