Well, after a full year of visiting Giasella every month to photograph her stages of life she’s been upgraded from ‘miracles’ to ‘wee ones’. We’ll have a family session together in October and after that we’ll be on a normal once-per-year schedule. My final session with Giasella was sort of bitter sweet. It’s such an honor to be such an integral part of a babies first year and I’ve so enjoyed watching her grown from just a tiny baby, to getting teeth, sitting up, and onto walking. One thing remained constant through the months… big brother Gasper, Mom, and Dad especially think she hung the moon.
The Fiore family just purchased a new home and while they haven’t moved in and it’s still being overhauled the outside of their new property is lovely. The architecture complimented and directed the gorgeous light and the shots out by the pond are gorgeous.
Out of the hundreds of images I have from a year worth of shooting this image from our final session is my favorite and is a contender as an all time favorite.

Mom Jessica asked before she commissioned me for the year if I could do something Anne Geddes inspired so before the year was up, I had to give her something that would reflect a bit of Anne’s work.
