Babies & Bows l Southeastern, MI Boutique Photographer l Kari Dawson

If you follow me on Facebook you may know that one of my adored clients is launching a Web site very soon for the bows, hats, and other awesome knit items she hand crafts. When the site launches you’ll hear about it because each item is a quality, unique, and top-notch peice. I’m just gaga over the hats! Here are a few of my favorites from our indoor studio session.

Lil’ Jonathon who you might remember as a newborn here. Seriously, Jonathon HAS to be hands down one of THE cutest little boys I’ve ever seen and I see a lot of cute boys.

Michigan Winter Through My Lens {pieces of me} l Southeastern Michigan Wedding & Boutique Portrait Photographer l Kari Dawson

Snow… it’s pretty and glorious and clean and the way it piles up on top of nature is a sight to behold. We spent many a Sunday morning driving from church in the winter time along the dirt roads to my mother-in-laws house for Sunday dinner and I was always in awe of the number of trees that lined each road and how gorgeous it was when the snow would stack up. Our new home has vaulted ceilings in the great room and has a lot of windows that stack all the way up and over looks five acres and many, many trees. So it’s a wonderful view and so long as I’m inside it makes me feel warm and tingly and reminds me of our Sunday drives along the dirt roads. It hasn’t snowed a whole lot in southern Michigan but when it did snow, holy cow it SNOWED! Michigan winter… through my lens.

We have this old blue shed on the property and you know? I love it!
